The unfulfilled love between Yennefer and Ciri and an incomplete family | Forums - CD PROJEKT RED
hints pointing that theres more to Geralt and Ciris relationship than it . Later in books Ciri is bugging Yen with questions about it, and Yen. Cause she's a witcher like him. Witchers are taken by the order when they are very young, trained and mutated with toxines to become stronger. Ciri and her relationship with Geralt needs to stay superior, there's no doubt about it. But does Questions get answered, things get cleared up.
After all that time, all that struggle, they finally find each other, the family is finally united, but they do absolute nothing together, why? Ciri doesn't even call her mother or Lady Yennefer and Yen doesn't call her my daughter or my ugly little owl or whatever it is translated in your language.
In German it's Eulchen, a cute little owl. Just look at that owl: Yennefer even tells Ciri that she should be happy that she doesn't need magic to look already beautiful. Why not like this: When I compare that to the books I mean, I hoped it would be like there, Geralt, Yennefer and Ciri on 3 horses doing their business as a family, but despite we have finally Yennefer in the game, it's only Geralt and Ciri doing their business First, why is Geralt sleeping in the big hall instead of with Yennefer, when he is back to his love of life?
It would be a good situation to let Yennefer explain, why Ciri should see Emhyr at least once and then decide what she wants to do.

It would also give Yennefer the time to explain herself, why she thinks it is something Ciri has to think about. Anyway, Ciri asks Geralt to come with her to kill him, they go, meet and kill him and 2 witchesall of it without Yennefer. After killing Imlerith they sit together and talk a bit: That's it again and someone is just missing After that fight you go to Novigrad and when you meet Yennefer, you will talk about that fight with Imlerith and it shows again how much trust Yennefer have in both of them: Yet, Geralt is surprised and Ciri doesn't even mention it near Yennefer nor does she.
The next scene about them and the family is, when the Lodge wants to talk with Ciri. Geralt can go with Ciri to meet the rest of the Lodge or wait and let Ciri talk with them alone.
Ciri Romance? | Forums - CD PROJEKT RED
First of all I don't understand why Yennefer isn't part of this in the first place, especially if you consider that she is a sorceress, she knows what the Lodge wanted and wants from her now and she was the one in the books going with Ciri, because she actually knew what to do in this situation.
This would have been also the best moment to implement the "But I want to be called Cirilla of Vengerberg, daughter of Yennefer. If Geralt decides to let Ciri do it alone, Yennefer joins him, because she is of course worried about her, it is clearly visible in her gestures, facial expression and acting: When Ciri comes back she says again that: The whole scene is really great though, especially when Ciri comments again about how both of them haven't changed a bit, the second time.
I was relieved to hear that, because it meant that it is how it was in the books, but to be honest it isn't. It's like Yennefer is almost excluded from this family, dragged away from them like she doesn't have a place with them anymore and the next scene even illustrate it: This scene perfectly describes the unfulfilled love between Yennefer and her family, while Geralt and Ciri are having fun, Yennefer is excluded from them.
Why can't she just be part of it?
Looking at them like she isn't allowed to join them, having fun with them, with her family. I was always in favour of Yennefer, I love her character, I love that family, yet all my Geralt's devotion to her, to this family, isn't making a difference. She is being excluded from them despite what she did, does and would do for them. Is this really what she deserved after all of this? To be the third wheel? She is the black one in this" white - ash blonde - black" constellation, one of the core elements in this, without it, it isn't the same anymore.
Why do you deny her her family? She is so close to them, yet so far apart from them than ever. Even if she had a similiar scene with her alone, it wouldn't be the same, as when the three of them were together as it should be.
Ciri was the glue that kept them together and not drift them apart. First i played the Wild Hunt through maybe 5 or 6 times. Then i got the Witchers 1 and 2.
Played them through once. Then i read the books. I, uh, found the english version books from the web. Im finnish so english is not my native language, still, i think my english is pretty good.
After reading the books i again played first fully through the series once, and then i grind Witcher 2, maybe 5 or so times. The Wild Hunt i played again through maybe 3 more times again. So i believe i have pretty good understanding of what is happening there behind the scenes. To start unwrapping the little secret between Geralt and Ciri, you need to read the first book.
More precisely the story where Geralt attends Princess Pavettas 15th birthday as Ravix of Fourhorn, the Play is the Thing-quest play is loosely based on this event.
The unfulfilled love between Yennefer and Ciri and an incomplete family
During the feast, Pavetta experiences uncontrollable burst of Power. Identical to what Ciri has during the battle of Kaer Morhen.
During this burst of Power, druid Mousesack aka Ermion tells Geralt that she cannot control the Power because she is virgin. The Witcher 3 ► Ciri's Kiss & Romance Attempt - Story & Gameplay #117 [PC]
This interesting piece was, IIRC, mentioned only once during the whole series. Anyway, the birthday party ended well, Mousesack and Geralt managing to subdue the raging princess.
Geralt invoked the Law of Suprise and was bound with Ciri there. How Pavetta was pregnant and virgin at the same time? I believe this was Yennefers doing.
During the raid to the Avallac'h lab, Ciri asks Yennefer if she had anything to do with manipulation of the Elder Blood gene. Impression i get from the way Yennefer replies makes me believe that she lied and indeed had something to do with it. But there was never any evidence though. This background would explain why Emhyr took Yennefer as his court sorceress after the Imperial Secret Police arrested her and Viper school witchers. Rest of the events in the books or Witcher 1 and 2 had no additional clues regarding this subject.
Well, maybe Geralts and Ciris behaviour during the battle of Castle Stygga, the two coming down the stairs slick with blood Interesting events in the Witcher 3: They claim that the spirit trapped inside Whispering Hillock was evil, which was true.
The background is explained in ingame book called "She Who Knows" They also said something like this: Also true, they met again and one did die, Imlerith. The two Crones Ciri beat up lived on similar to the Whispering Hillock spirit.
The Crones mention Ciri being a mirage when Geralt chases her. This refers to the scenes with doppler Dudu and the illusion in Hym's lair. So, i believe that all the crones said was actually truth. The Crones hit the nerve: Geralt likes shapely, ashen haired maids and is boiling like well fed yeast. Oneiromancy session Geralt and Ciri are bound, not only by fate, but by "something more". They both believe so, this is what i think.
After reading the books im sure that in Ciris mind, she sees herself as Geralts woman and only Geralts.
